Celebrity posters... What is the secret of their popularity? Do we prefer to surround ourselves with pretty faces or just adore everything beautiful? One thing if you hang the photos of your relatives all around your room or your own photos, but why do some people decorate their rooms with celebrity posters? These posters replace the wall papers! Just imagine: dozens of eyes look at you from the walls in your room! And the most important thing is that these are strangers (don't tell me that Keanu Reeves or Charlize Theron are your best friends). So, why do we surround ourselves with such things?

Someone may say that in such a way a person replaces real people (fell in love with some celebrity or just get inspiration from someone's portraits). Well, there is nothing horrible in such things... till we start to think that the life in that world is much better and reject to react and communicate with people in this reality. Do you know that some people may come home and tell about all the events which have happened with them during the day (whether they talk about their problems or confess about something) to... the poster of their favorite artists. Of course, we all have our preferences, but what a lonely person you should be if you have to talk only with the images.

The other thing is that sometimes the word "have" is replaced with the word "want". Yes, a person just doesn't want to communicate with the people who surround her in a real life and prefers to dream about some artist. No, it doesn't mean that she is mad or something like that. It is just much easier to "live" with a fabricated person than try to communicate with real people who behave in accordance with their own scenario. But the other question is what is the end of this story?
